Words

This is a great little film produced by Radiolab and NPR. “Words” is a great example of continuity editing, the stuff Hitchcock was so good.

Where Hitchcock used techniques in continuity editing to foreshadow events, build suspense and cast a certain mood over the scenes in his films, “Words” takes a much more whimsical approach. It’s clever and fun, if not a little sentimental.

Three Minute Picture Show

After 30 days of intense labor, we are pleased to invite you to the premier of our new short film “Home,” at The 2010 San Francisco Three-Minute Picture Show, on August 28, 2010.

30 days is not a long time to prepare, shoot and edit a film, even if it is only a three minute film. In fact, the extremely limited run time can prove to be quite challenging and require some very clever thinking on the part of the film makers.
