Words

This is a great little film produced by Radiolab and NPR. “Words” is a great example of continuity editing, the stuff Hitchcock was so good.

Where Hitchcock used techniques in continuity editing to foreshadow events, build suspense and cast a certain mood over the scenes in his films, “Words” takes a much more whimsical approach. It’s clever and fun, if not a little sentimental. Don’t miss that last cut.

A stunning film from Will Hoffman and Daniel Mercadante to accompany Radiolab’s Words episode. With an original score by Keith Kenniff.
