					<description>I just wanted to clear something up because a lot of people have been coming to this article looking for a fix for repeating background PNGs in IE6. There is no real fix for this or positioning those background image, using the Microsoft AlphaImageLoader.

You can "fake" some x or y repeats, but what the AlphaImageLoader actually does is stretch the image, not repeat it. So, this doesn't work in many cases.

But check back. I will post some nifty tricks to work around these short comings soon.</description>
